ZAGAR DISPLAYS ITS ROTARY TABLES AT IMTS 2012 BOOTH W-1254
Chicago, IL, September 10, 2012 – Zagar Workholding, a division of Zagar Inc., will introduce a new line of low cost rotary tables and indexers ranging in size from 120mm (4.72”) to 320 mm (12.6”). Indexing accuracy will be +/- 2 arc seconds which is normally a premium option with most table suppliers. Zagar table costs will range from between $12,000 to $18,000 depending upon size. “Tables with this type of accuracy would normally cost twice as much as a Zagar table,” states Mike Tolmer, National Sales Manager for Zagar Workholding.
On display will be the CNC200R rotary table. The 7.87 Inch diameter (200mm) unit features 360 degrees of rotation in 1.8 seconds using the AC unit (2.7 seconds with the DC unit), an auto home switch and pneumatic brake. All Zagar tables and indexers come standard with an AC Brushless Servo Motor and can be integrated with various CNC controls. For those machines without a 4th axis control or for manual applications, Zagar can provide a single axis digital control that can be programmed on the machine or activated by a signal from an existing CNC control. Zagar rotary tables and indexers feature American-made digital controls and are inspected for accuracy in a North American laboratory.
Improving American productivity for seventy-five years, Zagar Inc. manufactures and distributes a range of workholding solutions, multi-spindle drill and tap heads, feed units and robotic end effectors. The company’s expertise is machining both ferrous and non-ferrous materials for industries such as automotive, aerospace, electrical, medical, off-road construction equipment, hydraulic, pneumatic and high-production drilling and tapping.
Zagar’s CNC200R 8 inch diameter rotary table with fast index cycles, auto home switch and pneumatic brake provides accuracy and economy.
